Who is Jeanene?
Jeanene is a pioneering leader in children’s emotional and nervous system regulation, with more than 35 years of experience teaching and guiding kids through movement, mindfulness, and wellness. Over the past 20 years, she has specialized in yoga, integrating the hemispheres of the brain through cross lateral movements and meditation for children - blending her extensive training with her unique gift of intuitive guidance to create profound transformation for kids and families alike.

Her credentials reflect both depth and breadth: advanced certifications in sound healing, meditation, and yoga—including Hatha, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Aerial, Yoga Nidra guided meditation, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction—along with advanced study in meditation with Dr. Joe Dispenza.
A naturally curious and solutions-driven visionary, Jeanene recognized a growing need among today’s highly sensitive and deeply feeling children. She saw that traditional methods and outdated techniques often fell short in supporting them. With rapid shifts in technology, the prevalence of single-parent homes, and the distractions of our fast-paced world, children face new emotional and nervous system challenges—and they need innovative tools to adapt and thrive.
From this understanding, Jeanene created the Consciously Connected Kids Kit™—an innovative system that empowers children ages 2–7 with simple, tactile tools to self-soothe, regulate, and connect within themselves during moments of overwhelm or uncertainty. By teaching children to care for their own emotional and nervous system needs from an early age, she is helping to lay the foundation for a generation of calmer, more resilient, and deeply connected kids.

How Jeanene Got Started in This Field

Jeanene began working with children over 35 years ago, teaching in a mobile gymnastics program that served preschools and elementary schools, as well as teaching swim lessons to children in their backyard pools. She later launched her own mobile business, which eventually transitioned into teaching yoga for kids. It was here that she discovered the deeper science behind practices that truly support children: the power of cross-lateral movements to strengthen connections between the brain’s hemispheres, the ability of focused attention to calm the fight-or-flight response, and the soothing effects of breathwork and weighted objects—like shoulder pads and blankets—to bring the body back to balance.

As Jeanene began incorporating components of the Consciously Connected Kids Kit™ into her classes, she noticed a remarkable transformation in the children she taught. Their ability to focus improved, their “fight-or-flight” responses softened, and they learned to calm their bodies—bringing balance and harmony to both mind and body. Through these experiences, Jeanene recognized a greater need emerging. Today’s highly sensitive and deeply feeling children require support on an elevated level—tools that empower them to navigate overwhelm, big emotions, and the pressures of a rapidly changing world. Traditional methods often feel outdated and insufficient, especially as children grow up surrounded by fast-moving technology, shifting family structures, and increasing distractions.

This realization became the foundation of her life’s work: creating innovative, research-backed, and intuitive tools that meet children where they are—helping their bodies and minds adapt, regulate, and thrive.
Jeanene’s Mission with the Consciously Connected Kids Kit™
Jeanene’s mission is to place the Consciously Connected Kids Kit™ in the hands of every child ages 2–7 and in every preschool across the United States. She believes that children are our future, and when they learn from a young age how to self-soothe and regulate their emotions and nervous systems, they carry those skills into every stage of life.

By helping children live in a more balanced and centered body, mind, and spirit, the kit doesn’t just transform individual well-being—it creates a ripple effect that uplifts families, strengthens communities, and contributes to a more compassionate, resilient world.
